Look, I don't DISagree. But I don't agree, either.
The simle fact is, Trump is spending like a drunken sailor to save the empire - precisely the opposite of what I voted for. I wanted him to fold it up in a dignified manner and restore the republic.
That said, if Trump's hail mary's succeed, he will make the victim countries pay for their beating. So his profligacy only lands on the United States if his stratagems fail.
I do not see how his stratagems can possibly succeed, but his moves are at the behest of a brain trust that has better intel and better brains than mine. Trump's moves are a culmination of decades of planning by some pretty big-brained sons of bitches.
That is a stupid statement. Nixon gave China Taiwan. History gave China Taiwan. Geography gave China taiwan.
Do you understand who Chiang Kai-shek was, how the Kuomintang wound up on Taiwan, what Nixcon agreed to?
We have our own rare earth minerals. We just don't have the functional society to mine and exploit those minerals.
I have to agree with a slathering of irrational hope that at least some of the confusing **** pans out.
Simple things like putting up a fence to keep the raccoons out of the garbage cans is fine.
(Some people say it didn't work. But they are **** morons.)
Bombing a middle eastern "threat" becomes arguable since it is incumbent on him to show what the threat is/was.
THAT is what makes it complicated and I understand why: **** with China can't be an admitted purpose.
Just like China's aggressive Chinafying the seas and turning coral reefs into islands isn't **** with the U.S.
Expansion. Proxy. Fighting back. Nobody is doing that.
Please seat yourself.
I like the very things you hate.
